Overall Goal Weight: 180 pounds
Overall Weight Loss Goal: 151 pounds

Fitness Plan:
Pulling out the old "Sweatin' to the Oldies" tapes four to five times a week and gradually building my time from 15 minutes a day to 30 minutes a day (AH, Richard Simmons... I love that man... he has helped SO many people.) and incorporating the season one Biggest Loser workout dvd I own into my workout as well. I will probably do the same as my mom had suggested and also park further away from buildings so that I can get a "walk" out of going shopping and going other places.

Nutrition Plan:
My nutritional goal is to begin using www.sparkpeople.com to track my caloric intake because I have had some success with this method in the past. I plan to quit drinking regular coke and start drinking Coke zero as well as quit eating fast food. I plan on eating three meals a day and one healthy snack in the evening.

Wish us luck everyone!!! I hope my mom and I can do this for our health and well-being... it seems that everything that makes us unhappy anymore is always linked back to our weight...

Fitness Plan:
I plan to work on becoming more active and not sitting on the couch or in front of the computer so much. My daughter and I have some Richard Simmons work outs that we can work on. But, I also would like to get out and walk a little when the weather permits. I am going to make an effort to park further away so that I walk more through my daily activities.



Nutrition Plan:
i plan to choose healthier foods, not eat in the evening while watching TV, eat smaller portions and drink more water. I am on a gluten free diet because I have Celiac Disease. Fresh fruits and veggies are perfect choices for this diet so I am going to try and eat more of those daily. I need to get in this habit not only for weight control but for my health also.

4.4 to first goal

It is hard to believe that I only have 4.4 more pounds to lose to get to my first goal.  To be under 200 pounds again will be great.  I have been trying to think about what I want to set my next goal at but, have not decided for sure.  It is great to be doing this with my daughter.  I am also in a weight loss thing at work.  I believe I might be in second place for it.  It makes it a little easier when you are not the only person trying to get healthier and I have been taking my lunch to work most days.  I hope all my friends are doing well with their goals.  Boy+ Girl(Joy + Cassie) makes a good team.  I love you Cass.

Goodbye size 26 Jeans! (Cass)

Sadly, I didn't even think about taking my measurements along with my weight as a means to track my goals... I have no clue how many inches I've lost in my arms, stomach or hips, but I am starting to feel a lot better!  At least that's a good sign of how well this healthy living change has affected me!

I am finally down to 300 and can't wait to see that first small goal weight of 298! :)

Stand still

I have kind of come to a stand still on my weight loss.  I am doing really well with the diet part of things, but, just seem to be having a hard time getting started exercising.  I work 5 days a week, 7 1/2 hours a day and I am active in my church.  I go to church twice on Sunday and also on Wednesday night.  I am also active in a home makers club.  None of these things that take a lot of my time require much physical activity.  So if anyone has any suggestions on how to get myself going, I would greatly appreciate it.  I have never been very sports minded but, I used to like to dance even though I was never very good at it.  Smile
I am the same way about singing.  I love to sing but, I don't sound very good.  Note  I really want to get healthier to be able to feel better and be more active without getting out of breath.  Sad  My whole family needs to lose weight and become healthier.  Wish us luck!

Graphs help to motivate! (Cass)

The weight chart below is the combined weight loss goal chart for my mom and I.  This morning when I was recording our weigh in for the week I was ecstatic when I noticed that we're OVER HALF WAY to our first weight loss goals!!! :)  I am so proud of us!  We've both lost weight by ourselves before but this is great!  We've never lost it this consistently before and I'm attributing it to our teamwork!  Hopefully we can stay the track and keep this healthy lifestyle change going.  After we both reach our first goal I think we're going to go out to eat and celebrate!
